The community service provides the student with an initial certificate in the specialization, after two years, after which he can join the labor market and return to complete the study at a later period of two more years, provided that the student obtains the final bachelor's degree after completion of the second stage.

Under the protocol, the University of Larsson establishes the academic program, supervises the teaching process, and follows up the educational process in the university. The Egyptian side provides educational facilities and laboratories, supervising the students' enrollment procedures at the university and the administrative aspects.

For his part, Larson said that the protocol provides students with the opportunity to train in the working life, get the necessary experience, and then complete the study in a deeper and more specialized. The Protocol is a prototype; it is the prelude to signing several separate sub-protocols between the University of Ocean and each university, starting with Ain Shams University.
