President of the Chinese Parliament presents the painting Confucius to Ain Shams University

Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, head of Ain Shams University, presented the Confucius Class at the annual conference of Confucius managers in Africa, which was held recently in Maputo, capital of Mozambique.

Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel Sayed, Director of Confucius Class at Ain Shams University and Director of the Office of International Relations at the University announced this.

The Chinese government is keen to spread the Chinese language in various countries of the world, especially in Africa. For the first time, Mr. Li Janshou, President of the Chinese Parliament, will inaugurate this annual conference, where he handed President of Ain Shams University the painting of Confucius in a formal handover ceremony attended by the President of the Mozambican parliament and experts from 34 African countries and representatives from 110 Chinese university.

Prof. Dr. Esraa added that this conference witnessed the delivery of 4 African countries the Confucius painting (Egypt - Tunisia - Gambia - Mozambique).

She pointed out that the Confucius class at Ain Shams University is an independent class of the Al-Khan Ban Foundation, which is the institution for the dissemination of Chinese culture in various countries of the world.

It is scheduled hang the painting on the class of Confucius building at Ain Shams University during the ceremony, an official ceremony attended by President of Ain Shams University, the deputies and professors of Chinese Language Department, Faculty of Languages and all department students stages bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.
