Ain Shams University launches an initiative to decorate the walls of the University

Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat launched an initiative to decorate the walls of the university under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Where a group of students of the master's and bachelor's degree in the Department of Art Education at the Faculty of Specific Education at the University implemented murals that reflect the authentic Egyptian life and reflect the most prominent cultural landmarks in Egypt.

Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid stressed that Ain Shams University was keen to launch the initiative to develop environmental awareness among students in particular and the public in general through the artistic and aesthetic touch on the walls of the university, stressing that this work is a means of changing and modifying behavior indirectly.

Prof. Dr. Noha Mustafa Abdel Aziz, professor of painting and photography at the Faculty of Specific Education and supervisor of the team that the mural to be implemented is 265 meters high 4 meters and consists of 52 laps.

She added that the team of 100 students from the master's and bachelor's degrees has a strong motivation to complete the project as soon as possible. She also praised the support of the university administration and the community service and environmental development sector, which provided all the necessary financial facilities, procedures and others to achieve the desired goal.
