Delegation of Ain Shams University participates in the activities of the educational symposium on Martyr's Day

Ain Shams University of participated under the patronage of Mr. Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi in the presence of Prof. Abdel-Wahab Ezzat, President of the University and a delegation of university students in various faculties today in the activities of the twenty-seventh educational seminar under the title "Martyr's Day" organized by the Department of Moral Affairs in the Armed Forces. In the presence of Mr. Sedki Sobhi, Minister of Defense and Military Production, Mr. Magdy Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of the Interior, Gen. Mohamed Farid, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, a number of ministers, leaders of the armed forces, senior officials, public figures and media personnel.

Ambassador Bassam Radi, representative of the presidency, said that the president listened at the beginning of the symposium to a speech by the Islamic preacher Habib Ali Al-Jafri about the status of the martyr with Allah. He confirmed that the martyr was the one who was killed for God's sake in defense of his religion, stressing that the status of the martyr mentioned in the Qur'an beside the status of the prophets. He pointed out that the terrorists wanted to hijack the religion of God, and that we are fighting a battle for self-defense and life and supply and money.

The president also watched a documentary film about the stories and heroics of the nation's martyrs in the war on terrorism. He also heard a speech by Lt. Col. Military staff / Mahmoud Ali Abdo Hilal, the mother of martyr Military staff / Mohammed Samir Idris, Colonel Ahmed Mahmoud Shaaban, and the mother of the martyr Lieutenant / Ahmed Khaled Zahran, who shed light on the championships of a number of martyrs and wounded who sacrificed their blood and lives to save the homeland.

The President affirmed that the martyrdom or suffering of any martyr is a pillar of Egypt, pointing out that the Egyptian families gave their children to live 100 million Egyptians in safety and peace, and that the martyrs were right when they sacrificed their lives to Egypt.

The President stressed that self-sacrifice for the sake of the homeland is not just a slogan, but a reality that we all see and have already happen, and we are confident that we have the right to fight the Khawarij, who insult the sanctity of Allah and that the war we are waging is for God's sake. To wear military uniform and fight alongside officers and soldiers until we get rid of terrorism and live in Egypt in freedom and dignity.

The President pointed out that the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the security of the Egyptians and the stability of the homeland protected the country from many scourges, stressing that no one would dare to harm Egypt as long as its army is fine.

The President stressed that the army and the police have carried out their duties by offering their lives and blood to protect Egypt and the Egyptians, and demanded that the Egyptians in return should implement their duties and achievement in favor of the rise and development of Egypt.

The President also honored the families of the martyrs, the perpetrators of the operations and a number of heroes of the Sinai 2018, as well as the ideal mother of the armed forces, Mrs. Omaima Mahmoud Abdel Hamid.

After that, Mr. President participated in the ceremony of receiving the World Cup in Egypt, where he was keen to shake hands with the honor mission associated with the Cup, and the President stressed that Egypt is a partner in this competition.
