The activities of the first session of the next Einstein Forum in the continent of Africa was launched on Tuesday, 08.03.2016 at the capital of Senegal, Dakar, Which is proposed to be held every two years. The forum includes a selection of scientists, decision makers, ideas, industry leaders and civil society representatives as well as businessmen and multinational companies that are looking to invest in the field of scientific research, and representatives of regional and international organizations and companies. This forum is considered an African international meeting for a meeting between young talented scientists in Africa.
D. Ghada Bassiouni, an assistant professor, Department of Physics and Mathematics Engineering and head of the Division of Chemistry, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University have been chosen among the top 15 world "Africa" under the age of 42. Senegalese President Macky Sall headed the opening, honored, and delivered the Conference Award to Dr. Ghada Bassiouni and in the presence of Rwandan President Paul Kagame.
Dr. Ghada Bassiouni said that the forum is a chance to stand on the scientific and technological achievements in Africa that has been associated with the continent and the challenges faced by the energy and agriculture, environmental problems and topics related to information technology, health problems and other areas essential for development issues were discussed. She added that the forum is one of the African continent by the cadres that predict the emergence of the next Einstein and is honorable model to share and exchange knowledge between science and scientists.
